Задание 1. 1. The title of the text is Russian Constitution 2. The main idea of the text is Give the reader the main provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation 3. I learned that Fundamental human rights and freedoms are inalienable and shall be enjoyed by everyone since the day of birth and All people should be equal before the law and court. 4. I found the text interesting/ informative/topical/ cognitive/ boring/ amusing, because it tells a lot of useful information that is necessary in the life of every person living on the territory of the Russian Federation 5. In conclusion, I’d like to say that I want such interesting texts in my life to appear more often. Referendum - is a vote in which all the people in a country are asked to give their opinion about or decide an important political or social question. 2. Prime Minister - is the leader of the government in some countries 3. Constitution - is the set of political principles by which a state or organization is governed, especially in relation to the rights of the people. 4. Monarchy - is a country that has a king or queen. 5. Law - is a rule, usually made by a government that is used to order the way in which a society behaves. 6. Democracy - is a country in which power is held by elected representatives. 7. President - is (the title given to) the person who has the highest political position in a country that is a republic. State power was divided into legislative, executive and judicial branches of government 2. The executive branch was splitted between the president and the prime minister. Исполнительная власть была разделена между президентом и премьер-министром 3. The President elected every six years. Президент избирается каждые шесть лет. 4. The Prime Minister appointed by the Премьер-министр назначается президентом 5. The federal budget work out by the government Федеральный бюджет разрабатывается правительством 6. Federal laws to make by the Federal Assembly. Федеральные законы принимаются Федеральным Собранием. 7.
