2. My Future Profession 1) There are many good professions today. 2) When a person chooses a profession, this step defines his further lifestyle. 3) And this is not an easy choice. 4) After all, the profession changes us and our way of thinking, develops our skills and demands the responsibility for our actions. 5) Someone chooses to be a teacher and spend most of their time communicating with children. 6) Those, who choose to become doctors, spend most of their adult life helping people. 7) I have already decided what I would like to do and for me it’s a perfect profession. 8) I think my vocation is to be a lawyer. 9) It’s very difficult, interesting and challenging profession. 10) You need to be smart, intelligent and persistent person. 11) I like to investigate anything, find out the truth, debate and win. 12) In my opinion, justice is precious in modern world. 13) It’s good and important to know laws and rights. 14) Therefore, this profession is in demand and respected in every country. 15) To get this profession I need to study at university for 4 years. 16) Later on i need a lot of practice to get enough experience. 17) For me it’s important to be a good lawyer. 18) All the subjects are pretty difficult and you have to study days and nights. 19) But I am ready for this challenge. 20) Sometimes I watch different movies and programs about lawyers, judges and court. 21) In future I see I will be a good and professional lawyer. 22) I can talk about my future plans forever but I have to study to make my dreams to come true. 1) Сегодня есть множество хороших профессий. 2) Когда человек выбирает профессию, этот шаг определяет его дальнейший образ жизни.3)И это далеко не лёгкий выбор. 4) Ведь профессия меняет нас и наш образ мышления, развивает наши навыки и требует ответственности за наши поступки.5) Кто-то выбирает быть учителем и проводит большую часть своего времени, общаясь с детьми. 6) Те, кто решили стать врачами, проводят большую часть своей взрослой жизни, помогая людям. 7) Я для себя уже решила, чем бы я хотела заняться в будущем и для меня это идеальная профессия. 8) Я думаю, что мое призвание - быть юристом. 9) Это очень сложная, интересная и бросающая вызов профессия. 10) Тебе нужно быть умным, интеллигентным и настойчивым человеком. 11) Мне нравится расследовать что угодно, выяснять правду, спорить и побеждать. 12) На мой взгляд, справедливость ценна в современном мире. 13) Знать законы и права - это хорошо и важно. 14) Поэтому эта профессия востребована и уважаема в каждой стране. 15) Чтобы получить эту профессию, мне нужно проучиться в университете 4 года. 16) Потом мне понадобится много практики, чтобы получить достаточный опыт. 17) Лично для меня важно быть хорошим юристом. 18) Все предметы достаточно сложные и надо будет учиться днём и ночью. 19) Но я готова к этому вызову. 20) Иногда я смотрю разные фильмы и программы о юристах, судьях и о судебном процессе. 21) В будущем я вижу себя хорошим и профессиональным юристом. 22) Я могу бесконечно говорить о своих планах на будущее, но мне нужно учиться, чтобы воплотить свои мечты в реальность. 4. Moscow – a capital of Russia 1) Every country has its main city- the capital. 2) Usually it’s the biggest and the most economically and culturally developed city. 3) It is in such cities that the government is located. 4) Moscow has been the capital of Russia for more than three hundred years. 5) Moscow is the biggest city of Russia and its capital. 6) The city is located on the Moskva River and was founded more than eight hundred years ago. 7) Nowadays, Moscow is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. 8) More than twelve million people live and work here. 9) City has an interesting history and plays a great role in economics and politics of the world. 10) It is an important touristic center and a huge transportation hub. 11) Moscow is a green city. 12) It has a lot of parks. 13) Moscow parks provide a great number of recreation zones. 14) There you can find many type of animals and birds and feed squirrels, ducks, see a rabbit or a fox. 15) Moscow is also an important educational and scientific center. 16) A great number of universities and research objects can be found here. 17) Students from entire the world come to Moscow to get higher education. 18) There are many theaters, museums and exhibitions in Moscow. 19) Moscow is always developing, so it's impossible to get bored here. 20) Therefore, Moscow is certainly a special city. 1) В каждой стране есть главный город - столица. 2) Обычно это самый большой и наиболее экономически и культурно развитый город. 3)Именно в таких городах расположено правительство. 4) Столицей России вот уже более 300 лет является Москва.5) Москва является крупнейшим городом России, и её столицей. 6) Город расположен на Москве-реке и был основан более 800 лет тому назад. 7) Сегодня Москва - один из самых красивых городов в мире. 8) Более двенадцати миллионов человек живут и работают здесь. 9) Город имеет интересную историю и играет большую роль в экономике и политике мира. 10) Это важный туристический центр и огромный транспортный узел. 11) Москва - зеленый город. 12) Здесь много парков. 13) Московские парки предоставляют огромное количество зон отдыха. 14) Там вы можете встретить множество видов животных и птиц и покормить белок, уток, увидеть кролика или лису. 15) Также Москва является важным образовательным и научным центром. 16) Здесь можно найти большое количество университетов и исследовательских объектов. 17) Студенты со всего мира приезжают в Москву, чтобы получить высшее образование. 18) В Москве много театров, музеев и выставок. 19) Москва постоянно развивается, поэтому заскучать здесь невозможно. 20) Поэтому Москва безусловно является особенным городом. 5. London is the capital of Great Britain 1) London is the capital of England, the capital of Great Britain, and the capital of the United Kingdom. 2) It is the largest town in Europe and one of the oldest towns in the world. 3) Its population is about ten million people. 4) London is located on the River Thames. 5) London has many bridges over the Thames, more than twenty but the most interesting of them all is the Tower Bridge. 6) The bridge is located near to the Tower of London. 7) The Tower of London is an old castle, with high walls, tall towers, small windows and large gardens. 8) Once it was a royal residence, a strong fortress and a state prison. 9) Many important people were imprisoned and beheaded. 10) Traditionally London is divided into several parts: the City, the Westminster, the West End and the East End. 11) The City is the oldest part of London, its financial and business centre. 12) In the City the streets and pavement are very tight and traffic is difficult on weekdays. 13) But at weekends the City is almost dead. 14) The Westminster is the aristocratic official part of London. 15) It includes Buckingham Palace, where the Queen lived, and the houses of Parliament. 16) There one can see the famous Clock Tower Big Ben, the symbol of London. 17) The most fashionable and most expensive area is the West End. 18) The best hotels, restaurants, shops, clubs, parks and houses are situated there. 19) The East End is an industrial district of London. 20) There are many factories located there and the Port of London. 20) There are many other interesting places in London and it is difficult to describe all the sights. 21) The best way to know London is to visit it. 1) Лондон- это столица Англии, столица Великобритании, а так же столица Объединенного Королевства. 2) Это самый большой город в Европе и один из старейших городов в мире. 3)Его население около десяти миллионов человек. 4) Расположен Лондон на реке Темзе.5) В Лондоне много мостов через Темзу, более двадцати, но самый интересный из них - Тауэрский мост. 6) Мост расположен недалеко от Лондонского Тауэра. 7) Лондонский Тауэр является старым замком, с высокими стенами, высокими башнями, маленькими окнами и большими садами. 8) Когда-то он был королевской резиденцией, крепостью и тюрьмой штата. 9) Многие важные люди были заключены в тюрьму и обезглавлены. 10) Традиционно Лондон делится на несколько частей: Город, Вестминстер, Вест-Энд и Ист-Энд. 11) Город - старейшая часть Лондона, его финансовый и деловой центр. 12) В городе улицы и тротуары очень узкие, а в будние дни движение затруднено. 13) Но по выходным город почти мертв. 14) Вестминстер - аристократическая официальная часть Лондона. 15) Он включает в себя Букингемский дворец, где жила королева, и здания парламента. 16) Там можно увидеть знаменитую башню с часами Биг Бен, символ Лондона.17) Самый модный и самый дорогой район – Вест-Энд. 18) Там расположены лучшие отели, рестораны, магазины, клубы, парки и жилые дома. 19) Ист-Энд - промышленный район Лондона. 20) Там расположено много фабрик и Лондонский порт. 20) В Лондоне есть много других интересных мест, и трудно описать все достопримечательности. 21) Лучший способ узнать Лондон - это посетить его. 3. Rostov-on-Don 1) Rostov-on-Don is a city standing on the Don River. 2) It was founded in one thousand seven hundred and forty-ninth year. 3) The territory of Rostov-on-Don is three hundred and eighty square kilometers. 4) The population of the city is more than a million people. 5) This city is a big industrial, scientific and cultural centre in the South of Russia. 6) Rostov-on-Don is green and beautiful city. 7) There are many historical buildings in it. 8) But there are also modern buildings and shopping centers. 9) Rostov-on-Don is a large transport center. 10) It is not only a big knot of railways and airways but it is also the port of five seas. 11) Tourists visit our city because there are many interesting places here. 12) These are churches and temples, museums and galleries, monuments and fountains. 13) On the left shore of the Don River there is a huge and new stadium Rostov Arena. 14) This stadium opened in the two thousand eighteenth year before the World Cup. 15) If you want to spend a family weekend the best place is, in my opinion, the Park of Revolution. 16) Swans, peacocks and cranes live there. 17) There are cafes and many playgrounds. 18) And in the two thousand and sixteenth year, a sixty-five-meter Ferris wheel was built in this park. 19) The Don quay is a favorite place for residents of the city and for its guests. 20) Тhis is a nice place where you can go down to the water and take a motor ship ride enjoying the beautiful views. 21) You can talk about this city for a very long time, it's better to see it once and understand what kind of place it is. 1) Ростов-на-Дону - город, стоящий на реке Дон. 2) Он был основан в тысяча семьсот сорок девятом году. 3)Территория Ростова-на-Дону составляет триста восемьдесят квадратных километров. 4) Население города составляет более миллиона человек. 5) Этот город является крупным промышленным, научным и культурным центром на Юге России. 6) Ростов-на-Дону - зеленый и красивый город. 7) В нем много исторических зданий. 8) Но есть также современные здания и торговые центры. 9) Ростов-на-Дону-большой транспортный центр. 10) Это не только крупный узел железных и воздушных дорог, но и порт пяти морей. 11) Туристы посещают наш город, потому что здесь много интересных мест. 12) Это церкви и храмы, музеи и галереи, памятники и фонтаны. 13) На левом берегу реки Дон находится огромный и новый стадион Ростов Арена. 14) Этот стадион открылся в две тысячи восемнадцатом году перед Чемпионатом мира по футболу. 15) Если вы хотите отдохнуть с семьей, лучшее место, на мой взгляд, - парк Революции. 16) Там живут лебеди, павлины и журавли. 17) Есть кафе и много детских площадок. 18) А в две тысячи шестнадцатом году в этом парке было построено шестидесятипятиметровое колесо обозрения. 19) Набережная Дона - любимое место как для жителей города, так и для его гостей. 20) Это прекрасное место, где вы можете спуститься к воде и прокатиться на теплоходе, наслаждаясь прекрасными видами. 21) Об этом городе можно говорить очень долго, лучше один раз его увидеть и понять, что это за место. 6. Еnvironmental pollution 1) People have always polluted their environment. 2) Until recently, pollution was not such a serious problem. 3) Difficulties and problems appeared with the development of industrial cities. 4) Our factories, cars, trains and planes make the air dirty, so the atmosphere is polluted. 5) Many cities suffer from smog. 6) Huge forests are being cut down and burned. 7) Тhe disappearance of forests disrupt the oxygen balance. 8) Because of this, some rare species of animals, birds, fish and plants disappear forever. 9) Many rivers and lakes are drying up. 10) Air, water, and soil are necessary for existence of all living things. 11) Polluted air can cause illness, and even death. 12) Polluted water kills fish and other marine life. 13) On polluted soil, food can’t be grown. 14) In addition environmental pollution spoils the natural beauty of our planet. 15) Pollution is as complicated as serious problem. 16) Automobiles are polluting the air but they provide transportation for the people. 17) Factories pollute the air and the water but they provide jobs for people and produce necessary goods. 18) Fortunately, we can solve these problems and help our planet in everyday life. 19) We can plant trees and create parks for endangered animals. 20) Scientists and engineers can find ways to reduce harmful emissions from cars and factories. 21) We should be proud that we live on our wonderful planet and need to take care of it. 1) Люди всегда загрязняли свою окружающую среду. 2) До недавнего времени загрязнение окружающей среды не было такой серьезной проблемой. 3)Трудности и проблемы возникли с развитием промышленных городов. 4) Наши заводы, автомобили, поезда и самолеты загрязняют воздух, поэтому атмосфера загрязнена. 5) Многие города страдают от смога. 6) Огромные леса вырубаются и сжигаются. 7) Исчезновение лесов нарушает кислородный баланс. 8) Из-за этого некоторые редкие виды животных, птиц, рыб и растений исчезают навсегда. 9) Многие реки и озера пересыхают. 10) Воздух, вода и почва необходимы для существования всего живого. 11) Загрязненный воздух может вызвать болезнь и даже смерть. 12) Загрязненная вода убивает рыбу и других морских обитателей. 13) На загрязненной почве невозможно выращивать пищу. 14) Кроме того, загрязнение окружающей среды портит естественную красоту нашей планеты. 15) Проблема загрязнения окружающей среды также сложна, как и серьезна. 16) Автомобили загрязняют воздух, но они обеспечивают транспорт для людей. 17) Фабрики загрязняют воздух и воду, но они обеспечивают людей рабочими местами и производят необходимые товары. 18) К счастью, мы можем решить эти проблемы и помочь нашей планете в повседневной жизни. 19) Мы можем сажать деревья и создавать парки для животных, находящихся под угрозой исчезновения. 20) Ученые и инженеры могут найти способы сократить вредные выбросы от автомобилей и заводов. 21) Мы должны гордиться тем, что живем на нашей замечательной планете и должны заботиться о ней. 1. Don State Technical University 1) Don State Technical University is located in Rostov-on-Don. 2) The University was established in nineteen thirty. 3) Today DSTU is the largest scientific and educational center in the South of Russia. 4) The structure of DSTU includes: modern academic buildings with comfortable classrooms, multimedia and computer classes, laboratories, a sports complex and a swimming pool, workshops, recreation centers for students and teachers on the Black Sea coast, etc. 5) Institutes and highly specialized faculties function in the structure of the university. 6) Now, more than a hundred educational programs are practiced within the walls of DSTU, covering a variety of fields of activity. 7) More than forty thousand students are trained at the university. 8) The teaching staff includes about five thousand administrative staff, professors, associate professors, candidates of sciences. 9) There is also an possibility to get a pre-university education at DSTU. 10) There are twenty-four faculties in our university. 11) These are: law, aircraft engineering, international, road transport, agro-industrial faculities, etc. 12) Each faculty producer experienced and qualified specialists. 13) Аs well as the university has its own campus - it is eight residential buildings surrounded by a park. 14) The sports direction in DSTU is quite developed. 15) Тhe university has many sections-fitness, swimming, volleyball, football, etc. 16) Students are actively participate in sports competition, participate in the life of DSTU. 17) Besides, students of our university achieve high results in science. 18) My university encourages active students. 19) In general, DSTU is so large and versatile that each student's experience is completely different from the previous one. 20) And our university opens up great opportunities for all students. 1) Донской государственный технический университет расположен в Ростове-на-Дону. 2) Университет был основан в 1930 году. 3)Сегодня ДГТУ является крупнейшим научно-образовательным центром на Юге России. 4) В структуру ДГТУ входят: современные учебные корпуса с комфортабельными аудиториями, мультимедийными и компьютерными классами, лабораториями, спортивным комплексом и бассейном, мастерскими, центрами отдыха для студентов и преподавателей на побережье Черного моря и т.д. 5) В структуре университета функционируют институты и узкоспециализированные факультеты. 6) Сейчас в стенах ДГТУ практикуется более ста образовательных программ, охватывающих самые разные сферы деятельности. 7) В университете обучается более сорока тысяч студентов. 8) Преподавательский состав включает в себя около 5000 административных сотрудников, профессоров, доцентов, кандидатов наук. 9) Также есть возможность получить довузовское образование в ДГТУ. 10) В нашем университете двадцать четыре факультета. 11) Это: юриспруденция, авиастроение, международный, дорожно-транспортный, агропромышленный факультеты и т.д. 12) Каждый факультет выпускает опытных и квалифицированных специалистов. 13) Так же у университета есть собственный кампус - это восемь жилых зданий, окруженные парком. 14) Спортивное направление в ДГТУ достаточно развито. 15) В университете есть много секций - фитнес, плавание, волейбол, футбол и т.д. 16) Студенты активно участвуют в спортивных соревнованиях, участвуют в жизни ДГТУ. 17) Кроме того, студенты нашего университета добиваются высоких результатов в науке. 18) Мой университет поощряет активных студентов. 19) В целом, ДГТУ настолько велик и универсален, что опыт каждого студента полностью отличается от предыдущего. 20) И наш университет открывает большие возможности для всех студентов. |
