Abstract. Weconductedanalyticalreviewofforeignliteraturedevotedtotheimplementationofelectronicmedicalrecordsin the daily work. It has been established that the development and introduction of new technologies due to objective factors inthedevelopmentofmodernsociety.Itallstartedwiththeintroductionofcomputers,thenthefirstcomputerinindustry,science,andthenineverydaylifeoftheaverageperson.NowyoucanquicklyaccesstotheInternet,gettinganyinformation,databases,communicateinrealtime.Allthisiswidelyusedinclinicalandexperimentalmedicine.Electronicmedicaltechnologyhavea decisive importance in the provision of emergency or in cases of acute exacerbation of chronic diseases in the elderly orpatients with disabilities. They showed high efficiency in eliminating the consequences of natural disasters, in terms of masssanitary losses, destruction of transport and health infrastructure. The advantages of the transition of health professionalsworking with paper-based to the latest digital technology. Practice has shown that the development and implementation oflarge-scale changes in the «e-medicine» requires the use of modern equipment, software, engagement of technical experts andconsiderablecash.Therefore,themosteffective,thisworkmustbecarriedoutwiththehelpofthestateorcountriesunion.Ingeneral,theintroductionofe-healthtechnologiesisoneoftheprioritydirectionsofdevelopmentofmodernmedicine.Brand new opportunities to work with information, operational assistance to the sick, maintaining constant communicationwith them, carrying out public consultations in remote regions of the optimization of financial costs, etc.-all this, ultimately,contributetothequalityofnationalandregionalhealthcare.
