Технико-экономическая характеристика района строительства
Вяземский – город, районный центр Вяземского района Хабаровского края. Год образования 1951. Население – 14,6 тыс. чел. (2010 г.). Расположен в 130 километрах к югу от Хабаровска. Город раскинулся на террасах двух небольших рек – Первой и Второй Седьмой вблизи впадения их в Уссури. Свое название город получил в честь русского инженера О.П. Вяземского – руководителя работ по сооружению Уссурийской железной дороги. Основу экономики Вяземского района составляют лесная, пищевая, горнодобывающая промышленность, производство строительных материалов (высококачественные известняки, производство кирпича), сельское хозяйство и железнодорожный транспорт. Район входит в состав главной сельскохозяйственной зоны Хабаровского края, специализирующейся на производстве сои, зерна, картофеля, овощей, молочном животноводстве, пчеловодстве.
