I have read the text of The History of Computer Development. At the beginning of the text, the author describes to construction of the first general-purpose electronic computer. He notes that the first electronic computer was invented in 1946 at the University of Pennsylvania and It was Electronic Numerical And Computer the device contained 18,000 vacuum tubes and had a speed of several hundred multiplications per minute. In the next part, the author writes about the development of the 1950s and the appearance of smaller, faster elements that could not be created with the help of lamp machines. According to the author of this second generation of computers use much less electricity and have a much longer service life. The author also underlines that The largest and fastest of these are called supercomputers. Finally the author pays special attention that consists of five different elements: a central processor, an information input device, memory storage devices, an information output device and a communication system called a “bus” that connects all elements of the system and connects the system itself with the outside world. As for my opinion about the text, it is not only interesting and it contains very useful information about computers. я есть прочитал текст История развития компьютеров. В начале текста автор описывает конструкцию первой электронной вычислительной машины общего назначения. Он отмечает что первый электронная вычислительная машина был изобретен в 1946 год в Пенсильванском университете, и это была электронная вычислительная машина, устройство содержало 18 000 вакуумных ламп и имело скорость в несколько сотен умножений в минуту. В следующей части автор пишет о развитии 1950 годах и появлению меньших по размеру, более быстрых элементов, которые невозможно было создать с помощью ламповых машин.
