Цели: Активизация изученной лексики по теме «Музыка». Расширение лингвострановедческих знаний в области «Музыка» посредством самостоятельной работы учащихся. Использование межпредметных связей для составления монологических высказываний (Английский язык Музыка) Развитие у учащихся музыкального вкуса и стремления понимать английскую музыку. Ход урока: ВСТУПИТЕЛЬНОЕ СЛОВО УЧИТЕЛЯ. T.: Dear friends, how are you? Cl.: Fine thanks, and you? T.: I’m fine too. So let’s begin our unusual lesson. Yes! Our lesson is rather unusual today. Music, songs and musical styles are the subjects of our talking. We must learn to understand English songs and to say our opinions about it. I invite you to the trip. Please sit down into our music train. Fill you free! Our train leaves the station. (Звучит запись паровозного гудка.) ФОНЕТИЧЕСКАЯ ЗАРЯДКА. P1, P2, P3…: “The Golden Gramophone” “The Song of the Year”“Good morning the Country” “The Saturday’s Evening” “Guess the Melody” …………T.: And what about the radio stations? P1, P2, P3…: “Spring”, “Europe Plus”, “Radio of Russia”, “Mayak”, “Hit FM” … T.: Well. And what is your favorite programme and why? P1: I like to watch “The Song of the Year” because there are many famous songs which became hits. P2: I like to watch “Video Congratulations” because it is the very interesting programmer. All people expect that somebody congratulates them on TV. And as a rule there are the most popular songs in this programmer. P3: As for me I like to watch» The Golden Gramophone”. All stars take part in this concert. It is very interesting to see them. P4: But I like to watch all musical programmers because I think that music is very important in our life. It makes me remember happy days. T.: How can music influence people? P5: As a rule music entertains our hearts and feelings. T.: And what music do you like? P6: Being free I listen to the dancing or romantic music. T.: And what about the classical music? P7: This music irritates me. T.: Students, it is very bad that you don’t like this music. The man considers educated if he understands the classical music. But “Tastes differ.” Oh, look, this is the first station. I’m sure that you like English songs. Name the English-singing singers. Cl.: Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Mary Ford, Cliff Richard, Elvis Priestly, “The Beatles”, Sting, Madonna, Salina Deon, M.Jackson, “The Rolling Stones”, “Scotter” and so on. ПРАКТИКА В ГОВОРЕНИИ И АУДИРОВАНИИ. T.: Well. I see that you know many famous names. Some of you had the task to tell us about singers and their songs. Let’s start. P1: I suggest to begin from Louis Armstrong. He is one of the most famous black musicians of the 20th years. He became famous for his low rough voice and trumpet playing. He belongs to jazz musicians. His song “Let my people go” is the religious hymn. (Звучит запись этой песни из звукового приложения к учебнику. Слова песни на стр.183) T.: Friends, this song is very popular nowadays. Do you like it? P.: Yes, I do. When I listen to this song I want to sing with the singer. T.: Let’s go on our trip. The next station is Rock and Roll. P2: Rock and Roll began in America. Some of its first big stars were black – Chuck, Berry, Fats Domino. They brought traditional “rhythm and blues” to a big new TV audience. Then, white singers began to copy them. One of the first was Bill Halley. He and his band “The Comets” recorded an early rock and roll classic “Rock Around the Clock”. T.: Friends, look through the text of this song. What is it about? P.: This song is about the love of young people to rock and roll. They dance it from morning till night. T.: The next station is Liverpool P3: Pop exploded in the ‘60s. After Elvis, hundreds of new groups and singers appeared. In Britain, two groups quickly became more popular than all the others. One was The Rolling Stones. They played hard, aggressive rock and roll. The other group played a mixture of rock and pop. They came from Liverpool and the newspapers called them “The Fab Four”. Their real name was “The Beatles”. One of their songs became their visit card. This is “Yesterday”. Everybody all over the world knows this song. And I suggest listening to it. P4: Some years ago the young girl appeared on our star’s musical sky. She has an exotic name Alsu. She is the oil-businessman’s daughter. She became the star at 15. She had many famous prizes. Among them are “The Golden Gramophone” and “The One Hundred Puds Hit”. All of us are proud that she took the second prize in the International Festival “Eurovision” with her song “Solo”.
