Анализ “SOMETHING TO LEAN ON» by Langston Hughes Действия в данном произведение происходят в Америке. Нам показывают какие социальные условия были в то время для чернокожих людей. Так же перед нами раскрывается их страдания из-за невозможности найти свое мест о в жизни. Сам текст представляет собой диалог между самим автором и одним простым чернокожим человеком, который чувствовал себя угнетенным при жизни. В нем есть внутренний монолог, который раскрывает нам мысли, желания и чувства самого главного героя. Автор описывает жизнь главного героя, представляя события с его точки зрения. История я бы сказала очень эмоциональная. Все события происходят довольно быстро. Нам показывают трагическую судьбу чернокожих людей, тем самым демонстрируют существенную разницу между белыми и чернокожими людьми. Я бы сказала, что это сама главная тема рассказа. Сама идея рассказа это - сильное желание главного героя изменить свою жизнь к лучшему. Произведение заканчивается на пессимистической и философской ноте, где главный герой начал говорить о жизни негров в обществе и отношении к ним белых. Возникает конфликт с самим главным героем и с обществом. Это отражает внутреннюю борьбу его желаний и жестокой реальности. The actions in this work take place in America. We are shown what social conditions were at that time for black people. In the same way, their suffering is revealed to us because of the inability to find their place in life. The text itself is a dialogue between the author himself and one simple black man who felt oppressed during his lifetime. It has an internal monologue that reveals to us the thoughts, desires and feelings of the main character himself. The author describes the life of the main character, presenting events from his point of view. The story, I would say, is very emotional. All events happen pretty quickly. They show us the tragic fate of black people, thereby demonstrating the essential difference between white and black people. I would say that this is the main theme of the story itself. The very idea of the story is a strong desire of the main character to change his life for the better. The work ends on a pessimistic and philosophical note, where the main character began to talk about the life of Blacks in society and the attitude of whites towards them. There is a conflict with the main character himself and with society. This reflects the inner struggle of his desires and cruel reality. The text under analysis consists of several parts. The main characters are represented in exposition. They are the author and a coloured man Simple who wanted to find his own predestination in American society and in life. In complication Simple spoke about his difficult childhood, his hard life and his disappointments. In climax he began comparing himself with President Truman and his dream of being a president too. In denouenment Simple reflectedabout harsh reality and colored man life among white people. Depending upon the manner in which the text is represented we can speak about the language of the story. The style is infirmal and so the language is rather simple. It doesn’t abound in special or bookish terms. Practically all words are neutral. But there are some colloquial ones. E.g. Lord, scot-free, daddy. It is palso possible to find some abbreviations. E.g. Prop, FBI. |
