Задание The pie charts below show respondents by teachers of foreign languages in Britain to a survey concerning why their students are learning a foreign language. The first chart shows the main reason for learning a foreign language. the second chart shows how many teachers felt that there has been a recent change in the reason. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below. This pie chart gives information about the responses of Britain language teachers about the main reason their students learn a foreign language. To begin with, you can pay attention to the fact that the majority of students, namely 33%, study English for the sake of traveling. I can say that this is normal, because many people speak English, and if you are in another country, the ability to speak English is very useful. Further, it can be seen that 26% study a foreign language for work or business, which is not surprising, because even in Russia, knowledge of English is considered a great advantage when looking for a job. Next, we see that 19% of students study English to buying property overseas. The next 7% of respondents learn English for personal development and social contact. For General interest, only 5% of students study English. As for 3% of the students surveyed, they study a foreign language for partners. In conclusion, we can say that most students study English in order to make it more comfortable to travel to other countries. Перевод Для начала можно обратить внимание, что большинство студентов, а именно 33% изучают английский язык ради путешествий. Могу сказать, что это обычно, ведь многие говорят на английском языке, и если ты в другой стране - то умение говорить на английском языке очень пригодится. Далее видно, что 26% изучают иностранный язык для работы или бизнеса, что неудивительно, ведь даже в России знание английского языка считается большим преимуществом при поиске работы. Затем видно, что 19% студентов изучают английский язык для покупки недвижимости за рубежом. Следующие 7% опрошенных учат английский язык для личного развития и социального контакта. Для общего интереса английский язык изучают только 5% студентов. Что касается 3% опрошенных студентов, то они изучают иностранный язык для партнеров. В заключении можно сказать, что большинство студентов изучают английский язык для того, чтоб было комфортнее путешествовать по другим странам. |
