Also today at the lesson we’ll learn how to make different types of questions in the Past Simple Tense. Our lesson is not usual and I would like your class to be divided into three or four groups , because I offer you to work in teams. And, please, work friendly and help each other. I’d like you to imagine that one of you is a journalist (he will ask questions) and another will be Ann( she will answer the questions). TASK 3. Read the letter and answer the questions. Dear Olga, Thank you for your letter. It was great to hear from you. I had a wonderful holiday last year. I went to Great Britain with my family . We stayed there for two weeks . The hotel where we stayed in was big and very new. Every day we got up at 7 o’clock because excursions began very early. I knew a lot about sights of London. I was happy to see Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. I liked the Tower of London very much. It is very old. In the past it was a royal residence and a prison . Now it is a museum. During the holiday I read and practiced in English a lot and my English became better. There I made a few new friends too. I hope you have a nice holiday too.
