Abstract.This article discusses the attitude of the Russian Federation to the “color revolutions”. We paid special attention to the role of the US in its organization, technologies and consequences.

Within the framework of the typological method, we compared the countries of the Post-Soviet space where the “color revolutions” took place in order to understand whether the “color revolutions” ful-filled its mission. In this regard, we came to the conclusion that in almost every state where the opposition
