VR is used as a blanket term for all digital-reality variations, but this is not so. VR implies the illusion of moving the viewer into a completely different world.
VR has two types. First, watching a movie, without interacting with the world. The second involves the interaction of the viewer with the world and other users.
Augmented reality, placing a digital layer between the world and the viewer, mixes content and reality.
This technology allows engineers and designers to see and manipulate models of what they are working on.
The game Pokémon GO showed that AR can work even on a smartphone using a camera. In addition, the AR technology was liked by ordinary people.
And mixed reality is a combination of both VR and AR. With its help, you can visually change the real world. For example, imagine your apartment in a new interior.

VR и используется в качестве общего термина для всех вариантов цифровой реальности, но это не так. VR подразумевает иллюзию перемещения зрителя в совершенно другой мир.
Виртуальная реальность имеет два типа. Первый, просмотр какого-либо фильма, т.е. без взаимодействия с миром. Второй, подразумевает взаимодействие зрителя с миром и другими пользователями.
Дополненная реальность же, помещая цифровой слой между окружающим миром и зрителем, смешивает контент и реальность.
Такая технология позволяет инженерам, врачам и дизайнерам видеть и манипулировать моделями того, над чем они работают.
Игра Покемон ГО показала, что AR может работать даже на смартфоне, с помощью камеры. К тому же, что технология AR понравилась обывателям.
А смешанная реальность – это смесь VR и AR. С её помощью можно визуально изменять реальный мир. Например, представить свою квартиру в новом интерьере.
