Millions of people all over the world spend their holidays travelling. They travel to see other countries and continents, modern cities and the ruin of ancient towns, they travel to enjoy picturesque places, or just for a change of scene. It is always interesting to discover new things, different ways of life, to meet different people, to try different food, to listen to different musical rhythms.

Миллионы людей во всем мире проводят свой отпуск путешествуя. Они путешествуют, чтобы увидеть другие страны и континенты, современные города и руины древних городов, они путешествуют, чтобы насладиться живописными местами или просто сменить обстановку. Всегда интересно открывать для себя что-то новое, разные образы жизни, знакомиться с разными людьми, пробовать разную еду, слушать разные музыкальные ритмы.

Nowadays people travel not only for pleasure but also on business. You have to go to other countries to take part in different negotiations, to sign contacts, to participate in different exhibitions, in order to push the goods produced by your firm or company. Travelling on business helps you to get more information about achievements of other companies which will make your own business more successful.

В наше время люди путешествуют не только ради удовольствия, но и по работе. Приходится ездить в другие страны, чтобы участвовать в различных переговорах, подписывать контакты, участвовать в различных выставках, чтобы продвигать товары, произведенные вашей фирмой или компанией. Деловые поездки помогут вам получить больше информации о достижениях других компаний, что сделает ваш собственный бизнес более успешным.

Going abroad nowadays is a usual thing for many families. Some people, however, stay unsatisfied with the time they have spent in a foreign country. What are the advantages and disadvantages of travelling abroad or is it worth staying at home?

Поездки за границу в наше время – обычное дело для многих семей. Некоторые люди, однако, остаются неудовлетворенными временем, проведенным в чужой стране. Каковы преимущества и недостатки поездки за границу или стоит остаться дома?

One of the main advantages is the experience you get from being in a foreign country. While being abroad you have the opportunity to practice the language and socialize with citizens of the country you visit. This is especially beneficial if your occupation is connected with a foreign language.

Одним из главных преимуществ является опыт, который вы получаете от пребывания в чужой стране. Находясь за границей, у вас есть возможность практиковать язык и общаться с гражданами страны, которую вы посещаете. Это особенно выгодно, если ваша профессия связана с иностранным языком.

Furthermore, you get acquainted with a new place and that makes you relax and forget about your routine life. On the other hand, pretravelling process might be very depressing because of all the documents you should collect in order to enter the chosen country. What is more, you can get into trouble if you are not acquainted with the laws of the country you want to visit. What you are used to doing at home is not always normal for foreigners. Or you can also stay unsatisfied if the country you have chosen does not fit your expectations.

Кроме того, вы знакомитесь с новым местом, и это заставляет вас расслабиться и забыть о своей рутине. С другой стороны, процесс подготовки к поездке может быть очень удручающим из-за всех документов, которые необходимо собрать для въезда в выбранную страну. Более того, у вас могут возникнуть проблемы, если вы не знакомы с законами страны, которую хотите посетить. То, что вы привыкли делать дома, не всегда нормально для иностранцев. Или вы также можете остаться неудовлетворенным, если выбранная вами страна не соответствует вашим ожиданиям.

II. Express your own point of view on travelling (up to 15 sentences)
Whenever we think of travel, we get images of spending our leisure time at different places. These places are usually far from hustle and bustle of our daily life. We are fortunate to live in a world today where travelling is open to more of us than ever before. It is possible for us to travel virtually from anywhere on the planet to anywhere else.
The most important benefit of travelling, in my opinion, is that it is an educational experience. It helps us to broaden our horizons. Travelling opens our eyes to not only a wide variety of different places but to a variety of different cultures.
Also, travelling can be a fantastic way to refresh both our bodies and our spirits. Travelling gives us a chance to escape the daily routine to “recharge the batteries” by relaxing with family and friends. While travelling, we may spend even less time resting than usual but the distraction which it provides as well as the pleasant experiences can help us to see more bright colours of our lives.
Travelling can be a magnificent source of inspiration. Whether it is the smell of spices in a Middle Eastern marketplace, the awesome majesty of one of the world’s largest mountain ranges or the sandy beaches of a remote tropical island, sources of inspiration will greet the creative traveler at every turn and twist of their journey.
All in all, travel is an experience not to be missed or taken for granted. Our homes are safe havens but sometimes we need to step out of our comfort zone to develop our personality or just to feel something like “fresh air”. It is not a requirement to travel far and wide. The essential element is not where you travel to, but simply that you do it.

5.We’ll go swimming if it is a nice day tomorrow. It has just stopped raining. I hope the weather will be all right. – Мы пойдем плавать, если завтра будет хорошая погода. Только что прекратился дождь. Надеюсь, погода будет хорошей. |
