My Native Town My Native Town is Irkutsk. This is the administrative center of the Irkutsk region. The population of the city is more than 600,000 people. Founded in 1661 as a prison. Located in Eastern Siberia, on the banks of the Angara River, at the confluence of the Irkut River, 66 km from Lake Baikal. The coat of arms of Irkutsk, approved in 1997, is a silver heraldic shield, which depicts a black “babr” with scarlet eyes, holding a scarlet sable in its mouth. The flag of Irkutsk was established on October 31, 1996. It is a rectangular white panel with the reproduction of the composition of the urban coat of arms - Babra on green earth with sable in his teeth; supplemented at the bottom of the horizontal blue stripe, ending with a slope. The main streets in the city are Lenin Street and Dzerzhinsky Street. The most popular places are Irkutskiy Nerpinary, Irkutsk Academic Drama Theater, Zagurskiy Irkutsk State Musical Theater. These are the places that everyone should visit. They can have a great free time. Many famous personalities were born in Irkutsk. These include: film director Mikhail Romm, theater and film actor Vasily Bochkarev, football player Roman Zobnin, pianist Denis Matsuev and others. In Irkutsk, there are quite a lot of tourists. This is due to the fact that the city is a point of entry for tourists aspiring to Lake Baikal. There are quite a few large plants in Irkutsk, such as Baikalenergo, Baikal Pulp and Paper Mill, because of which the waters of Angara and Baikal are polluted. I can not say with confidence that I am proud of my city, since I have not been there for 10 years. But I can say for sure that I would very much like to go there, remember my childhood. Расположен в Восточной Сибири, на берегах реки Ангары, при впадении в неё реки Иркут , в 66 км от Байкала. Герб Иркутска, утверждённый в 1997 году, представляет собой серебряный геральдический щит, на котором изображён чёрный «бабр» с червлёными глазами, держащий в пасти червлёного соболя. Флаг Иркутска был учреждён 31 октября 1996 года. Он представляет собой прямоугольное белое полотнище с воспроизведением композиции городского герба — бабра на зелёной земле с соболем в зубах; дополненное в нижней части горизонтальной синей полосой, завершающейся откосом. Главными улицами в городе являются улица Ленина и улица Дзержинского. Самыми популярными местами являются Irkutskiy Nerpinary, Irkutsk Academic Drama Theater, Zagurskiy Irkutsk State Musical Theater. Это те места, которые должен посетить каждый. В них можно отлично провести свободное время. В Иркутске родилось много известных личностей. К ним можно отнести: кинорежиссера Михаила Ромм, актера театра и кино Василия Бочкарева, футболиста Романа Зобнина, писаниста Дениса Мацуева и других. В Иркутске бывает довольно много туристов. Это связано с тем, что город является точкой въезда для туристов, стремящихся на Байкал. В Иркутске довольно много крупных заводов, таких как «Байкалэнерго», «Байкальский цБК», из за работы которых загрязняются воды Ангары и Байкала. Не могу с уверенностю сказать, горжусь ли я своим городом, так как я не был там уже 10 лет. Но могу точно сказать, что очень хотел бы там побывать, вспомнить детство. |
