    The theme of the lesson: Countable and uncountable nouns

    The aims of the lesson:

    • Образовательные - активизация и систематизация грамматического материала по теме Countable and uncountable nouns; выявление качества и уровня овладения знаниями и умениями, полученными по данной теме; закрепление навыка использования исчисляемых и неисчисляемых существительных в устной и письменной речи.
    • Развивающие - развитие способностей к сравнению и сопоставлению, коммуникабельности (способности к общению в парах и группах), понимания иноязычной речи на слух, памяти, внимания, критического мышления.
    • Воспитательные - формирование способности к совместной работе; формирование познавательной активности, потребности использования языка.

    – Let’s train our tongue. Please, look at the board. Try to read this tongue-twister as quick as you can. Tongue-twister: The cook took a good look at the cookery book.

    1. Answer the questions:
      - Look here. How many pens can you see?
      - How much water can you see?
      - What’s the difference between these nouns?

    1. Presentation:

    Today we are going to speak about “Countable and uncountable nouns”.
    We’ll learn pronouns “much”, “many”, “some”, “any”, “a few”, “a little”. Today you can give cards for right answers. (презентация)

    1. Practice:

    1. Work in pairs: Divide the nouns into two groups:

    1 group: a table, sugar, money, an apple, a pen, milk, butter, an orange, snow, a boy, music, an orange, sugar, a computer, bread.

    2 group: rice, juice, cheese, money, food, a book, a pen, milk, meat, a window, a classroom, music, coffee, a day, a banana.

    1. P ut a/an before the countable nouns, and some before the uncountable nouns.

    1. Work individually in your copybook

    Ex. 5, p.88. Put some or any into the gaps.

    e. Don't buy any bread. There's some bread on the brеаd plate.
