He could not recollect the correct plural of the noun goose and he did not want to go and ask his wife. Suddenly he got a bright idea. He took a new sheet of paper and wrote, “Please, send me a goose.” And at the bottom of the sheet he added a postscript, “P.S. Send another one with it.” |
