ГЛАВА 2 Анализ грамматических особенностей Американского варианта английского языка 2.1Анализ морфологических особенностей американского английского на материале статьи взятой из журнала «the Hollywood Reporter» Для того чтобы проанализировать грамматические особенности американского английского в качестве примера можно привести ряд статей из различных американских газет. Для анализа морфологических особенностей обратимся к журналу Hollywood Reporter, к статье James Gunn Fired as Director of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ Нижеперечисленные примеры показывают что для американского английского характерно использование Participle 2 вместо Participle 1 в активном значении, также мы видим что некоторые примеры подтверждают одну из особенностей американского английского которая была описана в первой главе. А именно то что для американского английского характерно использование Past Simple вместо Present Perfect. Еще в данных примерах можно обнаружить опущение предлога при обозначении отрезка времени. Gunn issued a statement on Friday afternoon, saying that he «regretted» the tweets in question and stressed that «they don’t reflect the person I am today.» «My words of nearly a decade ago were, at the time, totally failed and unfortunate efforts to be provocative,» his statement read. «I have regretted them for many years since — not just because they were stupid, not at all funny, wildly insensitive, and certainly not provocative like I had hoped, but also because they don’t reflect the person I am today or have been for some time.» He continued: «Regardless of how much time has passed, I understand and accept the business decisions taken today. Even these many years later, I take full responsibility for the way I conducted myself then. All I can do now, beyond offering my sincere and heartfelt regret, is to be the best human being I can be: accepting, understanding, commited to equality, and far more thoughtful about my public statements and my obligations to our public discourse. Love to all.» Gunn has been writing for Gurdians 3, and the movie was expected to begin shooting in Atlanta in the fall for an expected 2020 release date, though Marvel Studios had never officially announced the date. The Gurdians movies have been a massive success for Disney and Marvel. The first movie made more than $773 million worldwide while the second made $863 million. The films stood out from other Marvel movies as they were infused with Gunn’s off-kilter filmmaking sensibilities that owed more to Indie genre movies than slicker cookie-cutter studio fare. В вышеизложенных примерах взятых из статей журналов можно обнаружить следующие синтактические особенности характерные для американского английского: Использование атрибутивного словосочетания «существительное +существительное», значение которого связано с контекстом. Общий падеж в словосочетании «существительное +существительное». Употребление «help + инфинитив» без to. Употребление like вместо as. Выводы по главе 2/2 Во второй главе был рассмотрен анализ грамматических особенностей американского варианта английского языка. Основной задачей данной главы было выявление морфологических и синтаксических особенностей американского варианта английского языка. Поиск грамматических особенностей проводился согласно классификации А. Д. Швейцера. Целью анализа являлись нахождение грамматических особенностей американского английского в сравнении с британским вариантом, а также наличие в рамках американского варианта. В качестве анализа были приведены в пример 3 новостные статьи различных американских СМИ на одну общую тему. Американский английский тяготеет к упрощению во всем, в том числе и в грамматике. Это видно на примере того что для американцев характерно использование Past Simple вместо Present Perfect для указания совершенного действия относящегося к настоящему. Также на примерах было видно использование модального глагола will вместо shall что также является характерным для американского английского, употребление Participle II вместо Participle I в активном значении, использование атрибутивного словосочетания «существительное +существительное», значение которого связано с контекстом и т.д Тем не менее, выявленные грамматические особенности соседствуют с особенностями, свойственными британскому английскому. Также стоит отметить частое использование phrasal verbs. Такое большое количество особенностей явно показывает самостоятельный характер грамматической нормы американского варианта английского языка. Однако считать американский английский как отдельный язык будет неверным, поскольку расхождения не носят критического характера. ЗАКЛЮЧЕНИЕ В данной курсовой работе были изучены грамматические особенности категории времени в американском варианте английского языка а именно различия в грамматике британского и американского вариантов английского языка а также анализ грамматических особенностей американского варианта английского языка на примерах статей журналов. Как видно, различия между американским и британским вариантом английского языка довольно заметны. Правда мнение о том что различия между британским и американским английским существенны является лишь мифом. На самом деле их не так уж много. Достаточно трудно порой бывает понять, написана та или иная книга американским или британским автором. «…отдельные словарные особенности в речи жителей различных английских доминионов не настолько велики, чтобы можно было говорить хотя бы об отдельных наречиях, характерных для того или иного района: их грамматический строй и основной словарный фонд полностью совпадают с теми же основными компонентами английского национального языка в метрополии» И все же с каждым годом различий между британским и американским английским насчитывается все больше и больше. Отсюда встает вопрос: какой вариант языка учить? И как быть в курсе последних языковых тенденций? По мнению директора российского представительства британской школы Language Link Роберта Дженски, сейчас можно говорить о появлении и закреплении некоего усредненного универсального английского, вобравшего в себя особенности разных языков. Этот - а не американский, не британский и никакой другой - вариант и есть "язык международного общения". Он, естественно, легче для понимания. Во-первых, он нейтрален по окраске, во-вторых, иностранцы говорят по-английски медленнее, произносят звуки изолированно, а слова четко. Кроме того, он удобнее: не надо напрягаться, пытаясь приблизиться к "чисто британскому" или "чисто американскому" произношению. По мнению многих российских лингвистов и преподавателей, «правильным» языком является британский вариант, точнее, та его часть, которая называется "принятый стандарт" (RP). Правильный базовый английский нужен, кстати, и для того, чтобы понимать и другие варианты языка, диалекты и особенности. Человек с хорошим классическим английским нигде не пропадет и, если будет надо, достаточно легко сможет перестроиться, привыкнуть к другой модификации языка. В результате данной курсовой работы были решены следующие задачи: Изучены грамматические различия между американским и британским вариантами английского языка Рассмотрены особенности использования времени Present Perfect в американском английском Рассмотрен анализ грамматических особенностей американского варианта английского языка. |
