    “Our country”

    Цели и задачи урока:

    1. Образовательные: совершенствование навыков аудирования, монологической и диалогической речи, чтения, письма; формировать умения логически и полно выстраивать ответ; формирование лексико-грамматических навыков, использование английского языка для повышения общей культуры, в частности, для расширения кругозора о том, как велика и бескрайня наша страна, перенос лексико-грамматического материала модуля в ситуации речевого общения на материале о родной стране.

    2. Развивающие: создать условия для формирования у учащихся способности к открытию новых знаний через поиск решений проблемных вопросов; развивать умение самостоятельно работать, извлекать необходимую информацию и оперировать ею, формировать коммуникативную компетентность и уважительное отношение к мнению другого человека.

    3. Воспитательные: формирование уважительного и доброжелательного отношения к народам, живущим на территории России; системы моральных ценностей; понимания важности изучения английского языка; прививать интерес и толерантность к другим культурам; развитие стремления к лучшему осознанию культуры своего народа.

    Планируемые результаты.

    1. Предметные - формирование речевой компетенции во всех видах речевой деятельности: говорении, чтении, аудировании, письме; способствовать формированию понимания роли владения иностранными языками в современном мире; оперировать активной лексикой в процессе общения.

    2. Личностные - способствовать формированию нравственно-этического оценивания усваиваемого содержания, исходя из социальных и личностных ценностей; развитие умения слушать и слышать собеседника; формирование мотивации изучения иностранных языков;

    3. Метапредметные – способствовать развитию умения планировать свое речевое поведение; коммуникативной компетенции, включая умение взаимодействовать с учителем, одноклассниками, участвовать в общей беседе, соблюдая правила речевого поведения; задавать вопросы, слушать и отвечать на вопросы других, формулировать собственные мысли, высказывать и обосновывать свою точку зрения; развивать умения работать с учебной информацией.

    Оборудование: учебник, ноутбук, проектор, раздаточный материал.

    Ход урока.

    1. Орг.момент.

    - Good morning, boys and girl!

    - How are you today?

    - Who is on duty today? Who is absent today?

    - What date is it today? What day of the week is it today?

    - What is the weather like today?

      • The secret word is – Moscow. What do you know about Moscow?

      • Yes, you are right, Moscow is the capital of Russia. And the topic of our lesson is - “Our country”. Let 's watch some video about our country. (видео)

      • Russia is the largest country in the world. What is the official name of our country? (the Russian Federation)

      • What can you say about history of Russia?

      • How many nationalities live in Russia?

      • What have you heard about Russian cities? (Sochi, Saint Petersburg, Moscow)

      • As you see our country is really big. Russia is a multinational country. People of different nationalities live here. There are a lot of Russians, Tatars, Bashkirs, Mordvins and so on.

    -Look at the screen. (Чуваши и буряты на экране). Do you know what nationalities they are?

    -Would you like to know?

    -So, today you are getting to know about Chuvashia and Buryatia. And by the end of the lesson, you will be able to talk about Chuvash and Buryat Republics. What are the objectives of the lesson?

    6. Физминутка

    Are you tired? Ok, let’s have a rest. Look at the screen, do and repeat after me.

    Look at the window, look at the door. (посмотрите на окно, посмотрите на дверь)

    Look at the ceiling, look at the floor. (посмотрите на потолок, посмотрите на пол)

    Will you stand up? (встаньте)

    Hands up! Hands down! (поднимают и опускают руки)

     Hands on hips! Sit down! (руки на пояс, садятся)

    Hands up! To the sides! (руки наверх, в стороны)

     Bend left! Bend right! (наклоняются влево, вправо)

    One, two, three... Hop! (прыгают)

    One, two, three... Stop! (останавливаются).

    Stand still! (успокаиваются)

    - Now we are going to look at some pictures and read the captions.

    The flag of the Chuvash Republic has a stylized tree of life, a symbol of rebirth, with the three suns, a traditional emblem popular in Chuvash art. Deep red stands for the land, the golden yellow stands for prosperity.

    There are many theatres and museums in Cheboksary. In the middle of the city there is a beautiful bay. Cheboksary has also a beautiful boardwalks and beaches along the Volga River where people swim in the summer.
    The flag of the Republic of Buryatia is a tricolor consisting of horizontal bands of blue, white and yellow with a yellow Mongol symbol on the blue band.

    There are many old historical buildings in the centre of Ulan-Ude.

    Lake Baikal is the largest freshwater lake in the world, containing 20 % of the world's unfrozen surface fresh water. It also the deepest lake in the world. It is about 25 million years old.
