Поддерживающие клетки: ядра (2) имеют округлую форму и составляют второй ряд ядер в почке; сами клетки простираются на всю высоту вкусовой почки, при этом они синтезируют адсорбент, который окружает рецепторные микроворсинки во вкусовой поре и необходим для концентрирования здесь вкусовых веществ.
