    Джон Арден — автор еще 11 книг: две из них посвящены нейродинамическому исследованию сознания, две — те- рапии, основанной на изучении функций головного мозга, шесть содержат практические советы по самосовершенство- ванию, в других критикуется современное общество.
    Его первая книга Consciousness, Dreams, and Self («Созна- ние, сны и личность») в 1997 году получила награду как вы- дающаяся научная книга Outstanding Academic Book Award, присуждаемую журналом ChoiceБиблиотечной ассоциации

Он также является основным автором (в соав- торстве с Ллойдом Линфордом) книг Brain-Based Therapy with Adults («Терапия для взрослых, основанная на изуче- нии функций головного мозга») и Brain-Based Therapy with
    Children and Adolescents («Терапия для детей и подростков, основанная на изучении функций головного мозга»).
    Джон Арден по образованию нейрофизиолог и воз- главляет программу обучения психологическому здоро- вью Training in Mental Health в медицинских центрах Kaiser
    Permanente Medical Centers. Это самая масштабная подобная программа в мире, она реализуется в 24 медицинских цен- трах по всей Северной Калифорнии. Кроме того, он ведет медицинскую практику в городах Петалума и Сан-Рафаэль.
